Five finishes are cut for the iPhone 18: Croco Glossy, Lizard Pattern, Pebble Pattern, Wave Pattern and Saffiano Pattern, with the Saffiano as the entry point into the range. Every pattern is pressed into calf leather rather than taken from an exotic animal, so the crocodile and lizard grains are embossed calfskin and nothing else, and Saffiano is a cross-hatch rather than a type of hide. The GENTCREATE mark is hot-stamped in gold by hand on all five, and the Croco and Wave are hand-sewn with a saddle stitch, which is why two pieces are close rather than identical. The polycarbonate holds the shape, the TPU absorbs the shock, and the leather is the surface rather than the structure.
